Split-Foyer Design

The lower level of this split-foyer design contains a roomy drive-under garage with a storage room, plus finished space that includes the lower landing and laundry, and unfinished space that could be converted into a playroom and bathroom. As you ascend the staircase to the main level, the wide entry and open railing offer a luxurious feeling. Columns announce the living area ahead, crowned by a tray ceiling and warmed by a fireplace. From here, you can access the deck in back. The living area leads to the breakfast room with its six windows and then to the kitchen with its peninsula snack bar and pantry closet. Two front-facing family bedrooms share a bathroom in the hall. In the master suite, another tray ceiling tops the bedroom, which opens to a walk-in closet. A boxed tray and cathedral ceiling are found in the master bath, which features a garden tub, a separate shower and his and her sinks. Foundation: drive-under basement.
