Twelve-foot ceilings in the foyer, dining room and breakfast room add volume and light to this relatively compact traditional design. Outside, gables, a bay window and an arched entry add appeal, as does the front door surrounded by glass. The open plan affords a splendid view of a see-through fireplace from the foyer and the dining room. The other side of the fireplace is bordered by a TV niche, allowing easy viewing from the great room. Off the great room, a wood-floored gallery is bathed in natural light from arched transom windows. A snack bar separates the breakfast room from the kitchen, which also includes a pantry closet. Sited for privacy, the master suite is topped with a tray ceiling in the bedroom and a corner garden tub, separate shower, linen closet and walk-in clothes closet in the bath.
