A dramatic exterior and light-filled interiors characterize this one-story design, a lot of house for the relatively modest square footage. Operable clerestory windows crown the roof line, providing a place for hot air to escape. The plan is angled for a good traffic flow. Square roof framing allows for economical construction. The reception area leads to spacious living and dining rooms, accentuated by a sloped ceiling and full-length windows plus an expansive bay window. The family room and kitchen open to each other. In a separate wing, four bedrooms and two baths are isolated. Optionally, bedroom two could be used as a den. A cathedral ceiling tops the master suite, where the private bath is lavishly appointed.
